One Thousand Plastic Trinkets Nick Armbrister poem book out now

Written Or Spoken

We write for the reason of writing. Name it more or less than that. The simple reason of writing. To write. Whether it's a shopping list or an epic novel. Words down on paper. Simple and important.

Words said to a hit man. On who to rub out. An amount of cash agreed. A deed done. A boss who doesn't listen. Sending the company into the red. Time to leave before court case and jail.

Whispered incantations to a Goddess or God of your choice. For love or hate. Your choice. Did you get what you wanted? Or do only you and your deity know? Aliens communicating in images equal words.

Wireless commands through the ether. Picked up by spies, allies and enemies alike. Numbers on the radio. Voice mails to yourself. Are you mad? No, you've no friends and enjoy your own voice.

Wave understood. Bike gang changes formation and forms up. Ready to attack. Graphic health warning for rednecks. Hunting rifles versus machine pistols. Who will win? Only words. Spoken or written.
