On the way to where
Seeking something out
But what and where is it?
A journey undertaken
Positive of sorts
Even if it starts negative
We travel this road alone
But aren't really lonely
For our kin guide us
This is our destiny
To finally be as one
Together in eternal life
Twilight bathes us
A safe and sound thing
The clocks ticks down
One day it will stop
The final second
Mattering the most
The at the pause of time
My family is one
Reunited forever
No Betweens
We become one
Individuals together
No longer apart
No longer separated
No longer forsaken
We are a unit
This is what a family is
Self supporting in all ways
In easy times and hard
Planning long term
Yet living day by day
Together we stand
